The Association has been operating in Switzerland since 2018 under the legal designation "Laskow Holoenergetic" and is established pursuant to Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB), with its domicile located in Hölstein, Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland.

The purpose of the Association is to promote, teach and disseminate the Holoenergetic healing method (Holoenergetic®) according to Dr Leonard Laskow. The Association aims to maintain the quality of the seminars and training courses offered to individuals and professionals using Holoenergetic® method. The Association does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not seek to make a profit.

The Association has the following resources to pursue its purpose: Membership fees, income from service agreements and programs offered, donations and grants of all kinds.

The Association is responsible for the teaching and disseminating of Dr Leonard Laskow’s work.

In 2022, Dr Leonard Laskow granted Laurence Latour an official license conferring her the authorization to teach Laskow Holoenergetic®, thereby recognizing her practicing with mastery, respect, and integrity.

Laurence Latour has devoted herself full-time and exclusively to Laskow Holoenergetic®, since 2014. She has worked with almost a thousand clients, gaining invaluable experience in the process. At Dr Laskow's invitation, Laurence also trained alongside him for several years to ensure the continuity of his teachings. She has communicated regularly with Dr Laskow to deepen her knowledge through ongoing mentorship. She also establishes collaborations with various organizations, thereby increasing the reach and impact of Laskow Holoenergetic®.

The Code of Ethics provides Laskow Holoenergetic® Practitioners with a guiding framework for their professional behavior.

1 / PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE AND TRAINING

The Laskow Holoenergetic® Practitioner:

Has successfully completed the training program, which is validated by the Laskow Holoenergetic® Association and holds a trademark license from the Laskow Holoenergetic® Association.
Is obliged to comply with the legal requirements of the jurisdiction in which they practice, and to maintain professional liability insurance where required.
Maintains an active and dynamic professional practice by participating in supervision and continuing education.
Respects the limits of his/her training, experience and competence when providing professional services.
Respects the intellectual property rights of Dr Leonard Laskow and others, ensuring proper attribution when appropriate.
Maintains respectful relationships with colleagues and refrains from any actions that could potentially damage their professional standing.

2 / FRAMEWORK FOR THE CLIENT RELATIONSHIP

The Laskow Holoenergetic® Practitioner:

Ensures clear communication about the services offered and maintains complete transparency with clients, ensuring they understand and acknowledge the terms by reviewing and signing the disclaimer.
Establishes a secure and confidential environment where clients can feel at ease, while diligently safeguarding all personal information disclosed during client sessions.
Recognizes and values the diversity of human experiences and backgrounds. Embraces inclusivity regardless of age, gender, gender expression, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or socioeconomic status.
Upholds the authority of healthcare professionals, their medical assessments, and therapeutic protocols. Never disrupts prescribed medications or current medical treatments.
Acknowledges professional limits and refrains from offering psychological or medical diagnoses without proper professional credentials.
Carefully suggests clients to appropriate specialists when their requirements extend beyond the practitioner's scope of practice or expertise.
Respects the autonomy and dignity of the client, while committing to never abuse his/her position for personal gain (whether intimate, spiritual, ideological, financial...), as this is a serious ethical violation.
Requires explicit parental or legal guardian consent or presence when working with minors.

like medicine and psychology, is an inexact science. Even in the best hands, services rendered cannot guarantee the cessation of symptoms or an improvement in condition or illness. Please understand that Laskow Holoenergetic® Healing is a complement to medical care, not a substitute for it.

Dr Leonard Laskow, the Laskow Holoenergetic® Association and its faculty, are not responsible for the actions of Practitioners. The Practitioner acknowledges and accepts that various results or non-results may result from their professional engagement and practice. The Laskow Holoenergetic® Association reserves the right to remove a Practitioner from its official registry if they fail to adhere to any of the guidelines within this Code of Ethics.

Each article of this Code should not be considered in isolation, but interpreted in its overall context.
The articles are complementary to each other and cannot be taken from the general meaning and spirit of the Code.
The articles of this Code may be modified and/or supplemented or improved according to the legislation applicable in the practitioner's country of practice, subject to the agreement of the Laskow Holoenergetic® Association.

The Laskow Holoenergetic® Practitioner recognizes the importance of adhering to a code of professional conduct. They acknowledge their professional duties and obligations and accept full responsibility for their actions. They refrain from any behavior that could bring dishonor or harm to themselves, their colleagues or the profession as a whole. The Laskow Holoenergetic® Practitioner embodies personal integrity and responsibility, serving as a steward of their own well-being.

Dr Leonard Laskow retains all rights to his entire body of work, including all materials, processes, and protocols used in his seminars, as well as all texts, books, and videos.

The precise formulation of Holoenergetic® processes is what makes Holoenergetic® uniquely powerful and effective. Dr Leonard Laskow wishes that this valuable gift will be treated with the respect and humility it deserves, ensuring that Holoenergetic® continues to serve its purpose as a transformative healing practice for the benefit of humanity.

As a Holoenergetic® Practitioner, you are responsible for preserving the authenticity of Holoenergetic®. Adherence to the meticulously designed method is crucial to achieving this and ensuring effective support.

It is necessary to bring attention to this issue:

We have become aware that certain individuals are taking unauthorized liberties with Dr Laskow's proprietary Holoenergetic® processes and materials. These parties have been altering and adapting these protected resources to align with their personal interests and commercial endeavors. We must emphasize this critical legal matter: Under copyright law, any reproduction, alteration, or integration of Holoenergetic® materials is strictly forbidden without explicit written permission from Dr Leonard Laskow.

This legal protection extends to all attempts to modify the original content, rebrand it under different names, or incorporate these materials into other healing modalities or therapeutic approaches. Such unauthorized use constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in legal consequences. The Holoenergetic® methodology must be maintained in its original form, as designed by Dr Laskow, in order to preserve its integrity, authenticity and efficiency.

TRADEMARK

Purpose and terms of use

Dr Leonard Laskow officially registered the term HOLOENERGETIC® with the United States Trademark Office in 1988. Since then, the HOLOENERGETIC® trademark has also been registered in Switzerland, France, and the Benelux countries, encompassing publications, professional training, workshops, seminars, psychological services, and alternative medicine practices. We are currently extending the trademark registration to Canada, Great Britain, and all European countries.

Why did Dr Laskow register HOLOENERGETIC® as a Trademark?
Holoenergetic® healing processes (and seminars) are extremely precise and meticulously designed. Dr Laskow himself used to say the protocols are like a symphony. Every word is carefully chosen to allow a unique neurobiological process to be operating. This precision in wording and sequencing is the result of Dr Laskow’s decades of research and this is what makes Holoenergetic® so unique and effective, potentially. Dr Laskow did not register Holoenergetic® with the intention to make any financial profit or personal gain — he did so knowing the protocols must be used with respect and integrity to be efficient.

Purpose of a Trademark
The purpose of a registered trademark is to identify the source of goods or services. It gives its owner the exclusive right to use the trademark, which helps prevent confusion and combat counterfeiting and unfair competition. A registered trademark may be licensed to a third party under specific conditions. It is a guarantee of quality for customers, as companies or individuals holding a license are encouraged to maintain the quality associated with the trademark.

Why do we regulate the use of the registered trademark now?

As Holoenergetic® methodology continues to grow and be adopted more widely across different regions, it has become increasingly important to take this step to preserve the authenticity, integrity, and transformative impact of Dr Leonard Laskow’s pioneering work and profound teachings. This is even more important today since Dr Laskow has stopped teaching and embodying Holoenergetic®.

Currently, practitioners are using many different terms to describe Holoenergetic®, such as "holoenergy®," "holoenergetique®," "holo-energy,®", "Holoenergetics" and other variations. This inconsistent and unauthorized usage generates confusion, dilutes the message and undermines the cohesive communication and professional image of Holoenergetic®.

We believe that implementing trademark regulations will strengthen our public presence and protect the integrity of our practice. This harmonization will benefit both Practitioners and clients by ensuring a more consistent and professional image of our practice.

How is this affecting you?

LICENSE AGREEMENT

ARTICLE 1 – TRANSFER OF RIGHTS — MORAL RIGHTS

The Licensor hereby extends to the Licensee a restricted, non-exclusive authorization to utilize the Laskow Holoenergetic® trademark and Holoenergetic® processes for business purposes. This authorization encompasses the following consultations.

For consultations in individual settings only:

These Protocols can be used in both individual and guided group sessions:

This authorization is valid within: Switzerland, France, Benelux territories, and United States. Currently, we are in the process of expanding the Trademark registration in Canada, Great-Britain and all European countries.
The Licensee operates an independently registered business for which they assume financial risk and responsibility, while adhering to the standards set forth in the Code of Ethics for Laskow Holoenergetic® Practitioners.
The Licensee may not distribute, modify, interpret, or alter the protocols or parts thereof without the written consent of the licensor.
It is the Licensee's responsibility to ensure that Dr Leonard Laskow’s copyright is appropriately acknowledged when applying the method.
Should there be any alteration or extension to the duration of the agreement, a new contract will need to be drawn up between the parties involved.
Dr Leonard Laskow retains full ownership of all intellectual property rights (including moral and economic copyrights, image rights, etc.) and usage privileges.

Note: the rights granted do not include the use of the logo, which is exclusively reserved for Laskow Holoenergetic® Association and its licensed teacher.

ARTICLE 2 – COMPENSATION

The Licensee pays an annual fee of CHF 150 for Full License or CHF 120 for Forgiveness License to the Laskow Holoenergetic® Association. The Association reserves the right to modify the license fee as reasonably required. In the event of an increase, it shall not exceed 2.5% of the previous year's amount.
The license fee must be paid within 30 days of receiving an invoice from the Laskow Holoenergetic® Association.

ARTICLE 4 – GENERAL PROVISIONS

Should any part of this agreement be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the agreement as a whole. The parties concerned shall agree on a valid alternative that comes as close as possible to what they would have agreed had they been aware of the issue. The same applies to any gaps in the agreement.
The parties hereby confirm that this agreement represents their complete understanding regarding the subject matter of the contract. This agreement supersedes and replaces all previous oral or written agreements or statements between the parties relating to matters identical or similar to those covered by this Agreement.
For the purposes of this Agreement, the parties shall establish their official residence at the addresses indicated in the header of the Agreement. Each party must notify the other party of any change of address within 30 days.
Any amendment or addition to this Agreement, including this particular provision, must be in writing. The written form requirement may only be waived by written consent.
The legal instrument in question is subject to the provisions of Swiss law.

ARTICLE 3 – TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT

The Licensee reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time. In the event of termination, written notice must be given, clearly stating the reasons for termination. Please note that the license fee for the current year is non-refundable. Upon termination, all privileges outlined in this agreement cease immediately.
The Licensor retains the right to terminate this agreement should there be any breach of legal terms, violation of the Agreement provisions, or unresolvable interpersonal conflicts.
The Agreement shall be considered fully executed upon written acknowledgment from both participating parties.

ARTICLE 5 – LASKOW HOLOENERGETIC® ASSOCIATION

The LASKOW HOLOENERGETIC® ASSOCIATION serves as the governing body of Dr Leonard Laskow’s work.
The Association aims to introduce Laskow Holoenergetic® to the broader community, while ensuring Laskow Holoenergetic® Practitioners maintain ongoing access to Dr Laskow's teachings through an extensive collection of audio and video materials as well as seminars.
The Association hosts a public directory on its website, featuring licensed Laskow Holoenergetic® Practitioners.
The Association's Board of Directors maintains the right to request sessions reports from Practitioners as deemed necessary.
The Association's Board of Directors reserves the right to terminate this agreement with a Practitioner in the event of non-compliance with legal terms and conditions, breach of this agreement, or the emergence of an irreconcilable personal conflict.

The agreement is executed in duplicate, with each party receiving one copy.

PRELUDE

HOLOENERGETIC® is the registered trademark for the therapeutic method created and established by Dr Leonard Laskow. The trademark ownership belongs to Leonard Laskow and Ruth Schurter Laskow. The Laskow Holoenergetic® Association serves as the governing entity for the trademark.

This methodology uses carefully designed protocols (Holoenergetic® processes) to assist individuals in recognizing and resolving subconscious patterns that underlie their challenges and transform them into beneficial conscious patterns. Holoenergetic® has demonstrated effectiveness in influencing long-term memory. If you would like to further develop your skills, Laurence Latour (Certified Laskow Holoenergetic® Teacher) offers personalized tutoring designed to strengthen your confidence and practical experience with Laskow Holoenergetic® processes, available in individual sessions. Through one-on-one coaching, she offers personalized support and targeted advice in the areas where you need it most. These tutoring sessions include sessions with volunteers, exchanges, and interactions with other trainees. 💥 If you are satisfied with your current skill level, it is essential to comprehend and follow the legal requirements governing trademark and copyright compliance. As previously certified Laskow Holoenergetic® practitioner, you can use the training you received in private, one-on-one sessions with clients. This allows you to continue applying your skills and knowledge. However, it is crucial to understand and strictly adhere to the trademark and copyright regulations governing these practices. Without a valid License, you cannot use the trademark or any copyrighted content for marketing, promotional or advertising purposes, or to otherwise distribute it. 💥 To ensure legal compliance, a comprehensive review of your digital footprint and marketing communications is required. This includes your professional website, social media platforms (e.g., a Facebook business page, a LinkedIn professional profile, and an X [formerly Twitter] account), and any YouTube channels or video content you manage. Conduct a thorough examination of these platforms to verify compliance with trademark and copyright laws. Any protected trademarks, logos, or copyrighted materials for which you lack current licensing must be removed. Unless you are actively participating in the training program, you are not permitted to use the Holoenergetic® trademark, advertise Holoenergetic® sessions, or even call yourself a Laskow “Holoenergetic® Practitioner.” 💥 As a trainee, you must indicate that you are in training and provide a link to our official website (www.laskow.net). 💥 To ensure legal compliance, a comprehensive review of your digital footprint and marketing communications is required. This includes your professional website, social media platforms (e.g., a Facebook business page, a LinkedIn professional profile, and an X [formerly Twitter] account), and any YouTube channels or video content you manage. Conduct a thorough examination of these platforms to verify compliance with trademark and copyright laws. Any protected trademarks, logos, or copyrighted materials for which you lack current licensing must be removed. You will be given access to an application program that will guide you step by step through your license application.

AFTER WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR APPLICATION
We will conduct a thorough review of your application. If needed, we might reach out to you for further information or schedule a Zoom meeting. Please note that the complete application review process, including document translation and assessment may take up to one month.

FIRST-TIME APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

If you have fulfilled all Laskow Holoenergetic® training requirements (= training + required session reports + examination/validation) and are maintaining an active Laskow Holoenergetic® professional practice, then please submit:

A bio (including your professional background summary).
A professional headshot photograph.
Your website link featuring your Laskow Holoenergetic® services + flyers (if you have any).
A summary of your Holoenergetic® practice:
- How many sessions do you facilitate per month (on average)?
- How do you combine Holoenergetic® sessions with your other services?
- What challenges are you facing in your practice?
- What are your successes?
- Any other information you would like to share?
Session reports from the last 5 months:

🔔 Please use the appropriate session reports provided in the Application Program and send us these files in PDF only. We will not accept any handwritten or scanned document since we need to copy the text for translation purpose.

The Laskow Holoenergetic® Association's board maintains the right to request additional details or schedule a Zoom discussion if clarification is needed.

ANNUAL RENEWAL OF YOUR LICENSE

Here are the requirements for your License to be renewed each year:

Participate live in the 4 annual meetings reserved for licensed Practitioners (online Zoom meeting with Laurence Latour and Sama Schurter Laskow).
Provide a summary of your Laskow Holoenergetic® practice:
- How many sessions do you facilitate per month (on average)?
- How do you combine Holoenergetic® sessions with your other services?
- What challenges are you facing in your practice?
- What are your successes?
- Any other information you would like to share?
